Why Choose Dr. Avaliani for Alloclae?
Alloclae is the first structural adipose tissue product made for aesthetic body contouring. It is human fat tissue, donated, screened and purified, that your provider places under the skin to add volume exactly where you want it. The result is visible the day of your treatment rather than months later, and because the material is adipose tissue rather than a synthetic gel, it sits and moves the way your own fat does.
Body Contouring Without Surgery
No liposuction, no donor site, no general anesthetic. Alloclae is placed through a blunt cannula in a single visit, which makes it an option for patients who want contour changes without an operation or a recovery
Board-Certified Physician
11+ years of aesthetic medicine experience. Every Alloclae treatment is planned and performed by Dr. Avaliani personally, from mapping the areas to placing each pass of tissue
An Option Without Donor Fat
Fat grafting needs fat to harvest. Alloclae does not, so lean and athletic patients who were told they were not candidates for a transfer can be treated
A Reputation Built on Results
5.0-star rating with 584+ verified patient reviews and a practice built on natural-looking outcomes rather than obvious ones
What Is Alloclae?
Alloclae is an allograft, meaning it comes from donated human tissue that has been screened and minimally processed into a purified adipose matrix. Placed under the skin, it restores the structural fat that gives a contour its shape, adding volume, support and cushioning wherever fat naturally exists on the body.
It is worth being precise about what it is not. Alloclae does not contain viable cells and has no systemic effect, and it does not depend on the metabolic activity of living cells to do its job. It is not a filler gel and it is not a collagen biostimulator, so there is no waiting period while something builds. The volume is there when you leave.
How Alloclae Works
An Alloclae session follows a straightforward sequence:
- Dr. Avaliani assesses your contour standing and moving, then marks the areas where volume is missing
- Local anesthetic is placed so the treatment area is numb before anything else happens
- Alloclae is introduced under the skin through a blunt cannula rather than a needle, which moves around vessels rather than through them
- The tissue is laid down in careful, layered passes so it integrates evenly instead of pooling in one spot
- Volume is visible immediately, and the contour continues to refine over the first weeks as normal post-treatment swelling settles
Concerns We Treat with Alloclae
Hip Dips
The inward curve between the hip and the upper thigh, which is skeletal in origin and does not respond to training or weight loss. Alloclae adds volume directly into the depression to soften the transition and give the silhouette a continuous line. Published photo sets commonly use 12.5 to 50 cc per side.
Gluteal Projection
Buttocks that read as flat or undefined in profile, whether from genetics, aging or weight loss. Alloclae adds projection and shape without an implant and without harvesting fat from elsewhere on your body.
Liposuction Irregularities
Dents, steps and uneven areas left behind after a previous procedure removed too much in one place. Alloclae replaces the missing volume in the depression itself, which is a more direct correction than treating the tissue around it.
Contour Irregularities
Localized dips and asymmetries anywhere fat naturally sits, including areas that have never looked even. Because the tissue is placed by hand in layers, small volumes can be used to correct a single side rather than rebuilding a whole area.
Volume Lost After Weight Loss
Reaching a goal weight often costs volume in places you did not want to lose it, leaving a shape that reads as deflated rather than lean. Alloclae puts structural volume back selectively while leaving the result you worked for intact.
Soft Tissue Loss
Thinning and loss of cushioning in areas where adipose tissue normally provides padding and support. Alloclae is intended for exactly this, restoring cushioning in localized areas of the body.
Our Alloclae Treatment Options
Alloclae is one of several ways to change a body contour, and it is not always the right one. Here is how Dr. Avaliani positions it:
Alloclae (Adipose Allograft)
Purified donor adipose tissue placed through a cannula for immediate, targeted volume. Best suited to defined, localized areas such as hip dips, gluteal projection and post-liposuction dents, and to patients who do not have, or do not want to harvest, their own donor fat.
Complementary: Sculptra®
A poly-L-lactic acid biostimulator that works in the opposite way, prompting your body to build its own collagen gradually over months rather than adding volume on the day. Dr. Avaliani may recommend it where the goal is broad, progressive change over a larger area rather than a targeted correction.
Combination Planning
Alloclae addresses volume. It does not tighten skin. Where laxity is part of the picture, Dr. Avaliani may pair it with an energy-based skin tightening treatment so the contour underneath and the skin over it are both accounted for.

Does It Hurt?
Your comfort options (we tailor this to you)
Alloclae is performed under local anesthetic, so the treated area is numb before any tissue is placed. The placement itself is done with a blunt cannula rather than a needle, which most patients describe as pressure and movement rather than sharpness. Sessions generally run 30 to 90 minutes depending on how many areas are being treated.
Expect the treated area to feel swollen, firm and tender for the first several days, much as it would after any procedure that adds volume under the skin. Most patients are back to light daily activity within about 24 hours. Dr. Avaliani will give you specific instructions on positioning, pressure and activity for the treated area, which matter more here than they do with a facial treatment. Pro-Nox (nitrous oxide) is available for patients who prefer additional relaxation during the appointment.

Is Alloclae Right for Me?
Ideal Candidates
You may be a good candidate if you:
- Want more volume or definition in a specific area rather than an overall change
- Have hip dips, flat gluteal projection, or dents left by a previous liposuction
- Are lean or athletic and do not have enough donor fat for a fat transfer
- Want a result you can see the same day rather than one that builds over months
- Are at a stable weight and in good general health
- Want to avoid surgery, a donor site and the recovery that comes with both
What Does Alloclae Cost?
Pricing Information
Alloclae is priced by the volume of tissue used and the number of areas treated, so the figure depends on the correction rather than on a set session rate.
Price Range:
Smaller corrections such as a single hip dip typically use a fraction of what a full gluteal treatment requires, and published photo sets range from roughly 12.5 cc per side for a modest correction to 150 cc per side for gluteal projection.During your consultation, Dr. Avaliani will assess your contour, mark the areas worth treating, estimate the volume each will take and give you a transparent quote before anything is scheduled. She will also tell you plainly if she thinks a different treatment would serve you better.
Luxury treatments. Flexible payment options.
Your confidence should never have to wait.
At Anna Avaliani MD Cosmetic & Laser Surgery, we believe exceptional aesthetic care should be accessible when you are ready, not months or years later. That's why we offer elegant financing solutions that allow you to begin your transformation today while comfortably managing the investment over time. Because confidence is priceless, and now it's flexible.

Alloclae frequently asked questions
What is Alloclae?
Alloclae is the first structural adipose tissue product designed for aesthetic body contouring. It is made from donated human fat tissue that has been screened and minimally processed into a purified adipose matrix. Your provider places it under the skin to add immediate volume, structure and cushioning in areas where fat naturally exists.
Is Alloclae a filler?
No. Dermal fillers are manufactured gels, most commonly hyaluronic acid. Alloclae is human adipose tissue, which is the same type of tissue that gives your body its natural contour. That is also what distinguishes it from a collagen biostimulator such as Sculptra: Alloclae adds volume on the day rather than prompting your body to build volume over months.
Where on the body can Alloclae be used?
Alloclae is used for gluteal projection, to minimize the appearance of hip dips, to improve irregularities left by previous liposuction, and for general body contouring. It may be applied anywhere adipose tissue naturally exists. Dr. Avaliani will confirm during your consultation which areas are appropriate for you.
How is Alloclae different from a fat transfer?
A fat transfer harvests fat from one part of your body by liposuction and moves it to another, which means an additional surgical site, anesthesia and a longer recovery. Alloclae uses donor tissue, so there is no harvesting step at all. That also makes it an option for lean and athletic patients who do not have enough fat of their own to transfer.
When will I see results from Alloclae?
Immediately. Volume is visible the day of your treatment. The contour then continues to refine over roughly the first month as normal post-treatment swelling resolves. Published before-and-after photo sets document results at one month, three months, four months and six months after the procedure.
Does Alloclae treatment hurt?
The area is numbed with local anesthetic before treatment begins, and the tissue is placed through a blunt cannula rather than a needle. Most patients describe pressure and movement rather than sharp pain. Expect swelling, firmness and tenderness for several days afterwards.
What is the downtime after Alloclae?
Little. Most patients return to light daily activities within about 24 hours. The treated area will be swollen and tender for the first several days, and Dr. Avaliani will give you specific guidance on pressure, positioning and when to resume exercise, which matters for how evenly the tissue settles.
How much Alloclae will I need?
It depends entirely on the area and the correction. Published photo sets range from around 12.5 cc per side for a modest hip dip correction up to 150 cc per side where gluteal projection is the goal, with many results in the 25 to 50 cc per side range. Dr. Avaliani estimates the volume during your consultation and quotes on that basis.
Who should not receive Alloclae?
Alloclae should not be used on patients with severe allergen sensitivities, a history of anaphylaxis, or in the presence of active infection. As with any procedure of this type there is a possibility of complications, which may include cystic or nodule formation, pain or infection, hematoma, anaphylaxis or other allergic or immune responses, and discoloration of the skin at the procedure site. Dr. Avaliani will review your history in full before recommending treatment.
What is Alloclae's intended purpose?
Alloclae is intended to be applied subcutaneously in localized areas of the body to provide cushioning and support to the patient's body where adipose tissue naturally exists. Alloclae does not contain viable cells, has no systemic effect, and is not dependent upon the metabolic activity of living cells for its primary function. This allograft is intended for single patient use only.
