How do I get to your office from Greenwich Village?

The 6 train from Astor Place or Bleecker Street goes directly to Lexington Av/59 St, a short walk from 30 East 60th Street. The R and W from 8 St-NYU go directly to 5 Av/59 St, which is just as close. Neither route needs a transfer.

What if I live on the west side of Washington Square?

Use West 4 St-Washington Sq. On weekdays the M runs from there to Lexington Av/63 St, and on evenings and weekends the F makes the same trip. The station is a few blocks from the office.

Can you help with acne scars?

Often, yes. Dr. Avaliani treats scarring with Genius RF microneedling, the 1540 fractional laser and, where a scar has left a depression, carefully placed filler. Most patients need a series of sessions, and she will tell you honestly how much improvement to expect for your type of scarring.

I clench my jaw. Can Botox help with that?

Neuromodulator injected into the masseter muscles can ease clenching and grinding and the tension headaches that sometimes come with them. Because the muscle relaxes, the lower face often looks a little slimmer too. Dr. Avaliani will assess your jaw at the consultation and discuss whether it is a good option.

I am a student and have never had anything done. Where should I start?

With a consultation. Dr. Avaliani will look at what is actually bothering you and explain the choices, including the option of doing nothing yet. When younger patients do go ahead, she keeps the first treatment small.

How to Reach Our Office from the Village

Greenwich Village is one of the few downtown neighborhoods with more than one direct train to our door. On the east side of Washington Square, the 6 at Astor Place or Bleecker Street runs up Lexington Avenue to 59th Street, and its exits at 59th and 60th Streets are a short walk west to the office. From Broadway, the R and W at 8 St-NYU go straight to 5 Av/59 St, which comes up at 60th Street and Fifth Avenue; walk east along 60th past Madison and you are here.

From the west side of the park, West 4 St-Washington Sq has the M on weekdays and the F on evenings and weekends, both running to Lexington Av/63 St a few blocks north. On a mild day some patients simply walk: it is a little under three miles from the Washington Square Arch straight up Fifth Avenue, then one block east on 60th Street.
